    Phone is good.. I am using this phone for a year. Ultra battery recharging is awesome. Within 5 minutes it gets recharged. Battery life is good. Photo quality is good but differs based on lightings. But I have problem with Hotspot.. Some time it will reject to connect some devices.. Similar Bluetooth as well.. Some time mobile signal is not up to the mark for calling.. But good for data.. Overall mobile performance is goog

    I am using this phone now for like for 1 and a half year and it is fine. The fast charging is amazing, one of the best features of the phone. The battery life is also good, it last the entire day without charging and even after 1 & 1/2 year it still gives good backup. It just occasionally hangs. The camera quality is very good. The speaker is not so good as only one side works but except that a good purchase!!

It automatically update everyday so u can not check missed call on your screen without open a phone. Gesture not working properly. Peel remote not accurate.. Working 3 out of 5. No second spac and dual app.

    The more apps you download the more contacts of the same person will be created, it's not like within just one contact, whatsapp, paytm, truecaller will be added. Each app which I have mentioned will create the contact name of the same person again for itself in the phonebook itself, so might find the name of the same person twice or thrice. I tried to get the problem resolved in the service centre but they say that many of the gionee model suffer from this issue. I never faced this type of issue in my previous phone from company smsng.

    You will not be able to see the exact time when you called up a person yesterday or before. It'll only show you the date not the time.

    Verdict- Not an excellent or smooth phone to use but not bad too. It's just okay that's it.

    I bought this mobile in Dussera sale. Soft.touch keys are not working after 15 days of use. When I called Amazon, they told since it is crossed 10 days from.delivery, we did not replace this. So I went to service center, they told if you have 2 year warranty card, we will replace this defect piece. But Amazon is not providing this warranty card this is something different from invoice. So when I checked.with Amazon, I spoke to one lady what she said, we are not providing any warranty card if you have any issue walk into service center. I was asking her why Amazon is not providing warranty card. She told me that as per our policy we are not providing that card. Then I was asking this card is provided by other sellers, so I thought Amazon will also provide this. But what she said you have to read terms and conditions before buying this mobile. So please re-think before buying Gionee in Amazon. It's worst phone ever I see. I hope my experience will helps you. Please call service center and get more details before but this.

    Amazon should help customers by providing more benefits since.everybody is looking this place. I was fully disoppointed with this type of commitment with Gionee. Why they are not replacing the phone based on invoice. Plseasereviditto your policy since it is harming who buy this.

    Unless you are comparing to a Xiaomi or Nubia, Gionee punches well above it's weight for an under 20K phone. I was disappointed with its previous launch, the Gionee S6 Pro, especially camera wise. But this phone A1 is actually good. First thing being that it runs Nougat, a rarity on Chinese brand phones and especially phones running Mediatek processors. The second standout feature is the Waves MaxxAudio, which boosts both the speaker output and the headphones. Though Gionee isn't really known as music lovers' phone, the A1 will have you quite satisfied with your music, at least on par with Oppo and Vivo.

    The front camera is good, but tends to soften images taken in low light/night. I would rate Oppo better here (F1 Plus and F3 series). The rear camera is excellent as it can take really high ISO photos without too much noise. The "Night Mode" applies additional image processing which really helps the image quality in low-light. There are only three phones that compare and do take comparable or better images, and those cost more: The Sony Xperia M5, The Sony Xperia X and the HTC Desire 10 Pro.

    Otherwise it's your average phone, the interface is a mishmash between the iOS inspired theming of Funtouch OS/Color OS and the Google standard layout of Android Nougat. The software has some bugs that Gionee should look into, like bluetooth automatically enabling itself if flight mode is disabled and enabled (even if BT was previously OFF). Voice quality is excellent, though I feel network reception is a bit worse than comparable phones by HTC and Oppo. Battery life is the leader in it's segment.

    Supported LTE bands are: Band 1, 41, 3, 5, 40. Amazon's website does not give a full description. Due to this it will support 4G of all operators in the current time.
